Segmental Saw Blades

Segmental circular saw blades are fast, clean cutting, durable tools that meet the rigorous demands that mass production requires. Segmental blades consist of a chrome vanadium steel body with a tensile strength of approximately 200,000 lbs. per square inch and replaceable M2 steel tooth segments heat-treated to a 63/65 hardness Rc. Therefore, they are designed for long life and exceptional cut quality, resulting in the lowest cost per cut when compared to any other steel cutting method. Segmental saw blades are recommended for all forms of ferrous and non-ferrous metals - billets, tubes, profiles, bars, and rounds.

We stock many segmental saw blades with diameters between 11" (275 mm) and 55" (1410 mm) with between 12 and 40 segments (36 to 432 teeth). See the chart below for pricing on new blades and repair work. Call today for technical support or to place an order.

Why Use Segmental Saw Blades?

Segmental saws can save you time and money by getting more cuts per blade over band saw blades.
  • Count cutting time in seconds, not minutes.
  • Hold tighter tolerances than band saws.
  • Produce better finishes, less burr.
  • Reduce costly secondary operations.
  • Longer blade life before sharpenings.
  • Less down time for blade changes.
  • Replace segments instead of blades, don't grind the life out of your blade or throw away a band with missing teeth.
